Who we are
Yebo Guest (yeboguest.com) is a guest intelligence, CRM and marketing platform for restaurants, operated by Yebo AI. This policy covers this marketing website. The Yebo Guest application at app.yeboguest.com has its own in-product privacy terms.
What we collect
We collect personal information on this site in these ways:
- Forms you choose to submit — the contact form (name, email, message), the newsletter signup (email) and the sales kit form on our Pilot POS page (name, email and, if you add it, your restaurant or company). Each requires your explicit consent checkbox before anything is sent.
- The "Book a demo" form — the details it asks for so we can arrange your demo. This form is provided by HighLevel and sends your answers to it directly.
- Usage analytics — Google Analytics 4 records pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this to understand how the site is used, not to identify you.
The sales kit page also remembers, in your own browser, that you have opened it, so it does not ask again. There is no other tracking, no advertising pixels, and no sale of data — ever.
Who processes it
Form submissions, demo requests and newsletter contacts are processed and stored in HighLevel (GHL), our customer relationship platform, so our team can respond to you, send you the sales kit you asked for and (with your consent) send you the newsletter. Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics. We do not store your form data anywhere else.
Why we process it (POPIA lawful basis)
- Responding to your enquiry — with your consent, given when you submit the form.
- Sending the newsletter — with your consent, withdrawable at any time.
- Sending you the sales kit and following up about it — with your consent, given when you submit the form.
- Improving the site — our legitimate interest in aggregate, non-identifying analytics.
Your rights under POPIA
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (South Africa), you may at any time request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Unsubscribing from the newsletter takes one click in any email we send. To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form — we respond to every request. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Retention
We keep contact-form submissions and demo requests for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and newsletter and sales kit contacts until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
